A day in Nursery is action packed and full of fun! We offer a broad and balanced curriculum covering all areas of The Early Years Foundation Stage. We combine directed teaching inputs with self-initiated and scaffolded play. We use the interests of children to inspire and to provoke children's curiosities. We know children learn best when they feel safe and secure with strong attachments to familiar adults and this is what is provided at Sandy Hill Academy. A fully trained teacher leads the Nursery and plans a cohesive curriculum where skills and knowledge are built upon over time.
